The Truth Is Youth!

On June 12th pupils from across Tameside will come together to voice their views in Tameside’s first Youth Forum. Each school will carefully select two pupils to sit on the forum for the next year. The forum will allow pupils to say exactly what they think about sporting provision across Tameside and input into upcoming projects. Their opinions will then be fed into the Tameside Sport and Physical Activity Alliance, which represents a large network of partners involved in sport across the borough.

 SPORT & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY CONFERENCE
AT THE CUTTING EDGE...REALISING THE AMBITION
The Sport & Physical Activity Conference 2008 was held on 17th April at the City of Manchester Stadium. The conference provided a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the  developments in PE, sport & physical activity for young people through a variety of workshops, networks &  updates. A special appearance from Beth Tweddle, who delivered an upbeat and motivational message to young sporting enthusiast, was the perfect end to a successful day. A big thank you to you all who attended the conference and helped out on the day.
