Unit 1: PE for NQTs and the inexperienced (one day course)
This course will investigate the difference between physical education and sport. Delegates will be given the opportunity to explore the most appropriate teaching methods and reflect on their own practice. Assessment and the new national curriculum will be embedded into the course programme.
Outcomes:
-Clear understanding of the difference between PE and sport
-Knowledge of the most appropriate teaching styles for use in a PE lesson
-Understanding of lesson planning and how to link work
