The Football Association and the English Schools' F.A. no longer allow competitive leagues at primary school level, so last year we introduced festivals which were played on the outdoor courts at Copley Academy and they were well attended with lots of positive feedback. Once the festivals were completed we allocated teams to one of three competitions: Cup, Trophy and Plate, based on performances in the festivals.This season, we are introducing our festivals at the start of the academic year so that it gives coaches / teachers an opportunity to look at players before they have to play their cup matches.
