If schools don’t wish to enter but individuals from within the school do, there will be a £3 charge.

The event is used to select the Tameside Team for the Greater Manchester Primary Schools Cross Country Championships (31st January 2026 at Heaton Park). The top 10 boys and top 10 girls from the event will be chosen (year 3/4s can be selected; times will be taken on the day).
