INTENT: This is an EXCEL competition aimed at children with high competency and high confidence with Cross country. Aimed at Years 3-6.
AGE GROUPS: U 9 girls and boys – over 1870 meters (approx.)
U11 girls and boys – over 1870 meters (approx.)
The event is used to select the Tameside Team for the Greater Manchester Primary Schools Cross Country Championships (5th February 2022 at Heaton Park). The top 10 boys and top 10 girls from the event will be chosen (year 3/4s can be selected; times will be taken on the day).
