INTENT: To develop Table Tennis within schools, competitive, no pathway.
AUDIENCE: Y10/11
We want to encourage schools to develop their intra school competition via after school clubs etc and have been considering the costs of transport. We have therefore planned a finals evening but will be encouraging schools to arrange competition prior to, for more pupils on their school site with a neighbouring school and then send 1 winning team to the finals evening.
For example, Hyde organises an after school club with 20 pupils. Develop that club but arrange some fixtures with local school Alder or Copley allowing more pupils to represent their school and have a positive experience. The winning teams will then represent their school at the finals night.
