On Saturday 8th June our talented Athletes represented the Borough at Longford Park Stadium , home of Trafford A.C.
It is still an honour to represent Tameside Schools and can also double as a valuable piece of evidence for practical P.E. Assessments
Athletes were nominated , with guidelines on standards provided by Mr Campbell of West Hill. Those pupils who reached the qualifying standards set by English Schools A.A. will go on to represent Greater Manchester in the National Finals at the Alexandra Stadium , Birmingham , in July. This event is televised on the Saturday.Athletes such as Andy Robertson (ex West Hill ), who made his Senior International debut in the Sprint relay team, took this pathway a few years ago.
